Sustaining Memberships

There are many different benefits that come with becoming a sustaining member of Dixon Stage Left, but the greatest of all is knowing your support gives us the stability to take the necessary risks that make the theater better for the whole community, just like the original idea that started DSL 10 years ago.

If you’d like to learn more, click the “Become a Member” button below to learn more about membership levels and the benefits of becoming a member.

One Time Donation

Every little bit helps! Whether you can give $1 or $1,000 we’re thankful for your support, and we appreciate you considering Dixon Stage Left to be a recipient of your hard-earned money. Every dollar we bring in goes to helping us get our new space ready for general operations. The more we raise, the sooner we can open our doors!

Thank you to all our Members for their financial support!

Do you own a small business in the Sauk Valley Area?

Do you want to support local arts?

There is a lot of work that needs to be done before we’re able to reopen by next year! The main projects we have right now are:

  1. Demolition of unusable portions of the building to be repurposed.
  2. ADA-compliant public restrooms
  3. Repairs to critically damaged beam upstairs (complete!)

Ongoing Renovations

Some of these can happen as stand-alone tasks. The others may need to be done as part of a larger renovation project to help with cost and the theater’s downtime.

  • New Floors and leveling floor
  • Build a new stage
  • Build a fully enclosed Auditorium with seating for 100+
  • Fly Loft and Lighting rails
  • New Dressing Rooms
  • Full Bar and Lounge
  • New Offices upstairs and a Ticket office on the main floor
  • Prop and Costume storage on the second floor
  • Expanded Scene Shop
  • And probably much more as we get going.
