"A BULLET for the BOSS" Rehearsals - Only 8 rehearsals May 27-30 June 2-5 performances June 6, 7, 8
All lines must be memorized before rehearsals begin.
A Bullet for the Boss takes place in 1928, during prohibition, at the memorial service of a mob boss, who was gunned down last week in a gangland slaying.
CAST OF CHARACTERS
ANGIE CAPPELLINI - Daughter of the deceased, an ex-showgirl. passionate, intense, NY street-wise and smart.
LOUIE CAPPELLINI - Son of the deceased, a very laid-back bootlegger. A NY hood but not a bum. Innocent and not too bright.
MIKEY CAPPELLINI - The eldest son of the deceased. He hides his NY personality in various alter egos , (hints of an Irish accent, Southern accent, British accent, and Italian accent)
GINA CAPPELLINI - The grieving widow. A NY street-wise dumb blonde bombshell.
SPECIAL AGENT D. FARMER - The FBI. A straight arrow type. (must do the hint of a Scottish accent)
CARMELLA MOZZARELLA - The loving widowed sister of Guido Cappellini, she cries a lot and sings really badly and guides the bereaved with clues etc.
GEORGIO CAPPELLINI – Guido’s loving brother, he doesn’t say too much, but he cries a lot.

A World Premier Readers Theatre Event
Beth, a mother of two teenagers, convinces herself that breaking into an apartment that she
signed a lease for is justified. However, the residence is occupied by Gary, who claims the condo
is undeniably his and a wrong address is the root of the problem. As the dispute over possession
escalates, Gary gradually establishes a relationship with Beth’s family members who take a liking
to the amiable Gary, who happens to be an employee of Homeland Security. Emotions build
unexpectedly for everyone involved. Local police try their hand in solving the confusion, until a
unique solution is agreed upon during this long, exhausting day.
